📖 How to Use

Getting Started
Fret Sense is a comprehensive ear training and theory tool for guitarists.

1. Training & Quizzes
Select a module to visualize the fretboard, or tap Start New Quiz to test your skills (your best streaks are saved automatically):

• Scale Finder: Visualize modes/scales and quiz yourself on intervals or notes.
• Triad Builder: Drill inversions and muscle memory on specific string sets.
• Seventh Chords: Master 7th chord arpeggios (Root on 6th & 5th).
• Chord Progression: (No Quiz) Analyze progressions, find modes, and record loops.

2. Loop Recorder
Record your own backing tracks directly in the browser.

• Record: Capture your playing (use the visual metronome if needed).
• Trim: Use the waveform editor to trim silence. Auto-trim creates seamless loops.
• Map: Define your chords, click "Map," and tap along to your recording. The app will sync the fretboard display to your audio!

3. Vibe & Analysis
In Chord Progression mode, use the "Vibe" dropdown to see how theory changes based on genre:

• Pop/Bright: Shifts minor keys to relative major.
• Sad: Focuses on the b3 and minor pentatonic.
• Blues/Rock: Highlights Blue Notes and Pentatonic substitutions.
