FretSense Support

Need a hand with scales, triads, JamSense, microphone permissions, or a custom track mapping? Send a note and include your device model plus the steps that led to the problem.

YouTube track will not play

• Confirm that the device has an active internet connection.
• Press the green “Start backing track” button in JamSense.
• Some videos cannot be embedded because of creator settings, age restrictions, or regional availability. Try another track and report the affected track name.

Microphone access is denied

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, select FretSense, and enable Microphone. FretSense requests access only after you start a microphone feature.

Chord timing looks early or late

Open Fine Tune in JamSense and adjust Display Sync for the device. Custom mappings can also be nudged and saved without editing code.

Resetting local data

Statistics can be reset from the Stats history screen. Custom tracks can be removed from My Tracks. Deleting the iOS app or clearing the website's storage removes all remaining locally stored FretSense data.
